Purdue Polytechnic Anderson, The City of Anderson, and Indiana Next Generation Manufacturing Competitive Center (IN-MaC) are proud to share with you our inaugural Maker Faire Conference for educators, manufacturers and makers.

This conference is on Friday, December 3rd and will coincide with the Anderson Manufacturing Roundtable. The conference is a regional event and open to any stakeholder who wants to improve our workforce, increase manufacturing capacity within the region, and ignite the maker movement. There will be workforce development workshops, technology demonstrations, and maker conversations.

Our breakfast kick-off presentation from the leadership team at Perfecto Tool and Engineering will detail their Humble, Hungry, and Smart approach to hiring and retaining skilled talent. It is not to be missed!

Our keynote speaker is Davin Huston, Associate Professor of Practice at Purdue University in the Polytechnic School of Engineering Technology, as well as in the Department of Theater. Davin will investigate what creativity means in a STEM field, and how to harness creativity as a true superpower for the tech and manufacturing industries.

Join us for a day filled with informative and interactive sessions, as well as lots of opportunities to connect with peers from education and manufacturing.

Proceeds from the conference will help support Purdue Polytechnic Anderson’s scholarship fund and to help support future Maker Faire events in 2022.
